My gm-ing style leans in a cinematic and character focused direction with a focus on the individual characters and their journeys through the story we are all telling together. In terms of combat, I tend to run difficult combats with the idea that a hard won victory is more rewarding than one handed to you on a silver platter. I prefer running rules light, story forward games like PBTA (Monster of the Week, Dungeon World, Blades in the Dark) or some of the more flavorful indie games of recent years (frontier scum, MOTHERSHIP).
